EVENT NAME: Charlotte Crown Tree Nomination Deadline 7/24/2017

DESCRIPTION: The Charlotte Tree Advisory Commission, on behalf of the mayor and city council, recognize outstanding projects and people that have a positive impact on the tree canopy of the Queen City. Nominations may be made by anyone and are due the 4th Monday in July each year for consideration. The awards are presented in September at the Annual Tree Summit televised by the City Council Meeting.

Protect the Trees, Save the Bees

Are you concerned about the alarming rate of loss of trees, green space, and habitat due to explosive development in Charlotte?

Now is the time to speak up, show up, and be present for the trees, green-space, and wildlife in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. This is a critical time to stand up and be counted in favor of stricter developer tree saving ordinances.
